Pastor Nathan Ravert started serving at Pembina Valley Baptist Church in the fall of 2022. Though his main ministry focus is serving as the vice president of Canadian Baptist Bible College, a ministry of Pembina Valley Baptist Church, he also serves on our pastoral staff. Pastor Ravert works with our single young adults in the college and career class through teaching a weekly Sunday school class, along with hosting monthly activities.

Pastor Ravert moved along with his wife Rachel and their four children to Winkler after ministering for nearly 14 years in the Greater Vancouver, British Columbia area. He has a genuine desire to serve the Lord with his life in seeing people reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believers discipled in the Word of God. 

Growing up in a Christian home and environment, Pastor Ravert had much exposure to the Gospel and the teachings of the Bible. Though being surrounded by much godly influence, it was not until his first semester of Bible college that he got his salvation settled on September 17, 2002. Pastor Ravert went on to graduate from FaithWay Baptist College of Canada in Ajax, Ontario in 2006. Having grown up in the United States, it was the years that he spent at FaithWay that God used to burden his heart for Canada. Since then, Pastor Ravert has become a citizen of Canada and has devoted his life to serving with his family in our great nation. He has a burden to see Canada reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and labourers sent out around the world for the glory of God.
